> About the Club

So, what is Indy Club? We are a student organization, affiliated with the Engineering Society, with a mandate to improve, enhance, and evolve Industrial Engineering. To achieve this, we are dedicated to achieving three things:

  1. Provide services to improve the quality of life for Indy students, both by aiding in academic matters, and by supporting non-academic social pursuits.
  2. Represent the Industrial Engineering student body. We express the best interests of Indy’s to the Engineering Society and U.T.S.U., to make sure that we’re getting the most out of the money we put into our 4 (or 5…or 6, or maybe 7) years at Skuletm. Also, we work with the faculty to defend the rights of Indy students to the best education possible, while seeking to improve that same education for years to come.
  3. Develop the value and significance of the field of Industrial Engineering. To accomplish this, we strive to solidify common understanding in the academic and professional world regarding the deep relevance of Industrial Engineers to society, through strengthening of ties between the student body and professional organizations, and by seeking to establish anew a clear purpose to the pursuit of Industrial Engineering as a whole.
